cabot
   a traditional unit of volume in Jersey (Channel Islands), used for both liquid and dry commodities in trade. The cabot equals 10 pots3, which is 17.375 Imperial quarts or about 19.747 liters. For dry commodities, the cabot is roughly comparable to 1/2 bushel.
